I have a few email addresses that nobody has the passwords for or directs email to. For some reason, I get random email addressed to my parents in all of my accounts when they have never signed up for anything with my email. I find it strange not only that I am getting email that isn’t for me, but it is for family members or people I know. What’s the deal? We do not have a shared computer, but I have accessed my email from theirs.
What is strange is it is legitimate email, not spam…like I am getting reminders for my mom’s car service. And they never signed up my email address for reminders.

That’s how spam works – random email generation sometimes looks as if they know about you. Just dump it along with alkl the other spam you get.
there can be two things i can say, one if someone even in your family might be going back into a computer you use and if you did not log out then they use that email. Also if sometime wants to email something like a newpaper from a different site all they needs is your email and it will look like it is sent from you.
